Hi there. We’re putting together a complete list of MLB player’s at-bat music, as those currently online are all several years old.  With the power of Twitter and blogs, this should be a relatively easy feat.

The game of baseball is slow enough that it allows you to take in all sorts of minutiae. From the way that fielders shift for certain hitters, to the at-bat music that accompanies him to the plate.

While we as fans have decided upon our own songs that we’d use (Hot Chip, “Over and Over”), we’ve also dissected the choices by the pros.   “Is David Wright really coming out to Dave Matthews?” (yes); to “Is Francoeur’s country tune really appropriate for NYC?” (also, yes).

So help us out.  Comment in the “Open Thread” below, or hit me up via Twitter. You can find me there at http://www.twitter.com/AtBatMusic.

Thanks!
EJ
